I’ve been writing and performing award winning satirical comedy for twenty years.
I’m running a 2 ½ hour virtual masterclass (via Zoom) that will give you the toolkit to:
Put your finger on what satire is, what YOUR satirical comedy should be doing, and why some things that look like satirical comedy are actually something else.
Find your satirical voice
Navigate how to make stories that are not funny into the subject of comedy
Deal with the possible pitfalls of jokes that are close to the line
Go further than just preaching to the choir.
Understand and connect with the industry and identify an audience for your work.
Connect with fellow writers in the masterclass.
Plan a realistic path forward for your satirical writing.
There are two sessions available (to cater to as many timezones as possible). You may attend both (they will have more or less the same content).
Session 1: Sat 21 Nov (10:00 GMT / 05:00 EST / 02:00 PST / 20:00 AEST / 21:00 AEDT)
Check your local time here: Time Zone Converter – Time Difference Calculator
Session 2: Sat 21 Nov (22:00 GMT / 17:00 EST / 14:00 PST) | Sun 22 Nov (08:00 AEST / 09:00 AEDT)
